Full Stack Lead Java/SQL Engineer (FHIR)- W2 Only

KPG99 INC is seeking a Full Stack Lead Java/SQL Engineer who will be responsible for running SQL queries and assisting with FHIR development and API integration. The role requires expertise in full stack Java development and a strong background in SQL within a production environment.

Responsibilities:

• Run SQL queries and SQL scripts in a production environment
• Assist with some of the FHIR development with APIs and integration work
• Data analysis and validation
• ETL and backend data processing
• Production issue troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
• Performance tuning of database-intensive workloads
• Ability to clean up existing scripts

Requirements:

• 6+ years' experience as a full stack java engineer
• Java
• Microservices
• Spring Boot
• Hibernate
• Advanced SQL knowledge (4+ years)
• Data analysis and validation
• ETL and backend data processing
• Production issue troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis
• Performance tuning of database‑intensive workloads
• Ability to clean up existing scripts
• Proven lead experience (doesn't need the title)
• Production environment experience
• Healthcare interoperability experience required
• FHIR - implementing APIs required
• Medicaid a plus
