About this role
Sunrise Systems, Inc. is seeking an IAM Security Engineer to support logging, monitoring, and onboarding of applications using Splunk. The role focuses on Highly Privileged Access (HPA) monitoring, IAM security controls, and testing of secrets rotation tools.
Responsibilities:
- Onboard applications to Splunk (logging & monitoring)
- Analyze log data and map to Splunk data models
- Develop/test Splunk configurations and add-ons
- Support IAM initiatives (HPA monitoring, secrets rotation)
- Conduct testing, troubleshoot issues, and document results
- Collaborate with app owners, developers, and security teams
Requirements:
- 3+ years overall experience (1+ year in IAM/InfoSec)
- Hands-on experience with IAM concepts (RBAC, Authentication, Authorization)
- Strong expertise in Splunk & SPL
- Experience in cloud environments (PaaS)
- Agile experience (Jira) and strong communication skills
