Scada Engineer

New York Technology Partners is seeking a Scada Engineer to support a DOT-regulated pipeline environment. The role focuses on SCADA development and system migration projects, primarily upgrading from OASyS SCADA to Enterprise SCADA.

Responsibilities:

• Support the upgrade from OASyS SCADA to Enterprise SCADA, both Aveva products
• Build, modify, and/or test SCADA displays and graphics
• Execute and support system testing during different upgrade phases
• Collaborate with Operations, IT, and Automation stakeholders to ensure project schedule, system compliance, and performance
• Contribute to the development of the SCADA Support Model for pipeline operations
• Travel as needed for testing and project support

Requirements:

• Hands‑on OASyS SCADA experience (development, configuration, or upgrade)
• SCADA development experience in pipeline / midstream environments
• Experience supporting DOT‑regulated systems
• Automation exposure, including interaction with PLCs and other field devices
• US‑based and eligible to travel
• Able to flex between 50% and 100% allocation depending on project phase
• PI System experience (highly preferred / +++)
• Prior experience with AVEVA Enterprise SCADA, OASyS, or similar systems
• Direct involvement in SCADA migrations or major upgrades
• Background working in regulated oil & gas pipeline environments
