MinIO is the industry leader in high-performance object storage, and they are seeking a Business Development Representative. The role involves developing outbound sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and leveraging technical tools for effective communication.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage MinIO’s intelligence systems to identify potential prospects and generate leads
- Develop strategies to convert existing MinIO’s vast ecosystem of open-source users into commercial customers
- Develop strategies to attract new enterprise customers to the MinIO value proposition
- Craft creative, personalized emails and email sequences to articulate the value of a commercial relationship with the goal of meetings and opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling sales presentations and proposals
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competitors, and market conditions
- Provide feedback and insights to the sales and marketing team to enhance lead generation efforts
- Constantly assess the data on the work, continuously optimizing it
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closure, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Utilize the full suite of technology tools (SFDC, Hubspot, Outreach) tools to track interactions, progress, and conversions
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in the software industry, with a focus on data infrastructure SaaS solutions
- Outstanding writing and phone communication skills, capable of engaging and persuading executives
- Highly creative approach to sales and problem-solving, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Proficiency in email sequencing and platforms, with a strong understanding of digital communication tools
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Software, Data Analytics or a related field preferred
