Advantage Technical is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer specializing in Service Cloud. The role involves designing, building, and supporting solutions across Salesforce platforms, requiring extensive development expertise and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain solutions on Salesforce Service Cloud and Salesforce Order Management using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flows
- Deliver enhancements across the full development lifecycle, from requirements to deployment
- Build and maintain API integrations using Apex and REST services
- Follow Salesforce best practices for development, testing, and documentation
- Enhance and expand the existing Agentforce chatbot to support transactional workflows
- Improve chatbot accuracy using Salesforce Knowledge, product data, and business rules
- Configure prompts, intents, actions, and fallback logic
- Use Salesforce Data Cloud to support personalization and AI grounding
- Support identity resolution, data mapping, and data activation as needed
- Support testing, UAT, deployments, and production releases
- Follow DevOps and Git‑based deployment practices
Requirements:
- Candidates must be local to the Bedford, MA area (within ~30 miles)
- 5+ years of Salesforce development experience
- Strong hands‑on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows
- REST APIs and integrations
- Salesforce Service Cloud
- Salesforce Agentforce (required)
- Salesforce Order Management (OMS)
- BA/BS degree in a technical field (required)
- Familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud
- Experience with Git and Salesforce deployment processes
- Salesforce Platform Developer I/II certifications preferred
- Experience with AI, chatbots, or conversational automation
- Experience supporting global or multilingual Salesforce implementations
- Background in customer service, warranty, or technical support systems
