Senior Product Designer, Creators

VRChat Inc. is building the future of immersive, user-generated worlds, and they are seeking a Senior Product Designer to join their Creators team. This high-impact role is focused on shaping interaction systems and UI across desktop, VR, and mobile, particularly in how players experience and interact with objects in the world.

Responsibilities:

• Design the future of the Creator experience in VRChat
• Lead the evolution of how our content, starting with props, is created, managed, and brought to life in VRChat
• Shape interaction systems and UI across desktop, VR and mobile
• Influence the broader creator toolkit over time
• Design for makers, translating technical complexity into clear, approachable UX
• Enable a global community of artists and developers

Requirements:

• Experience in product design, particularly in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design
• Strong portfolio showcasing design work and process
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly designs
• Experience designing for immersive environments, such as VR or AR
• Strong understanding of interaction design principles
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with user-generated content platforms
• Familiarity with game design principles
• Experience in designing for mobile platforms
• Knowledge of VRChat or similar platforms
