AWS DevOps Cloud Engineer

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Cloud Engineer to support clients in modernizing their IT infrastructures. In this role, you will manage server configuration for cloud solutions and work within a DevOps framework to provision virtual machines and networks, utilizing cloud service providers to meet client needs.

Responsibilities:

• Set up cloud environments and provision computer networking, storage, and virtual networks
• Support our clients as they modernize their IT infrastructures
• Work closely with cloud architects and engineers to manage server configuration for modern cloud solutions
• Apply your skills within a DevOps framework to establish or provision virtual machines or networks
• Use cloud service providers to further your client's meaningful missions
• Develop, deploy, or manage IT infrastructures for crucial server and network components

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience with the development of tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments
• Experience with provisioning computer networking and storage and setting up servers that the platform is on, including virtual machine (VM) or networks
• Experience in Elasticsearch with integration
• Experience with AWS, AWS Encryption, and AWS secure configurations
• Experience with Linux and Bash
• Experience working with GitLab
• Experience in Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree
• CompTIA Security+ Certification
• Experience with writing scripts using tools, including Python or Boto3
• Experience with GEOAxIS
• Experience with Microsoft Azure
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel
• Experience with DevOps CICD pipeline
• Experience with triaging and resolving issues related to both open source and commercial tools in public cloud environments
• IAT Level III Security Certification
