Corpay is looking to hire a Senior Counsel within our Legal division. This position is located in Atlanta, GA or Brentwood, TN. We are seeking a highly skilled Counsel to support our business with a focus on commercial transactions, product advisory, and regulatory compliance. This role will partner closely with cross-functional teams to structure, negotiate, and execute business initiatives, while proactively managing legal risk. This position is not focused on litigation. You will report directly to the Global Head of Litigation and regularly collaborate with other teams and departments.

As a Corporate Lawyer, you will be expected to work in an office or hybrid environment.

Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include:
• Strong transactional and commercial contracting experience
• Demonstrated process improvement mindset
• Experience supporting commercial relationships, including:
◦ Referral agreements
◦ Reseller agreements
◦ Similar partnership based contract structures
• Background in a payments or highly regulated environment
• Proven ability to work with, influence, and earn the confidence of senior level stakeholders
Qualifications & Skills
• Minimum of 6–7 years of experience.
• Strong business judgment
• Ability to translate complex regulations into practical advice
• Negotiation and stakeholder management
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving regulatory environment
• Experience in commercial transactions, corporate law, or in-house legal roles
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
