The Commercialization Project Manager I leads and supports a cross-functional team through the defined Project Management processes. Effectively works in a fast-paced environment while ensuring all projects are executed within the Project Plan. Responsible for successful execution of defined Project Management processes/tools and effective communication.
Responsibilities Include:
- Leads and supports a cross-functional team through the defined Project Management processes/tools to deliver sustainable project executions, allowing Wells to achieve financial goals. Understands projects to ensure time and resources are aligned and all associated costs are managed effectively.
- Works in a fast-paced environment with direct interaction with Wells cross-functional subject matter experts. Maintains a professional relationship with internal and external customers. Conveys project goals and objectives clearly and in a compelling manner. Effectively listens and clarifies information as needed.
- Responsible for developing and executing Project Plans involving all relevant stakeholders while also ensuring feasibility of the project(s). Facilitates project team meetings through defined Project Management Processes/Tools, helping the team to execute the project and remove roadblocks. Provides mature and positive communication that is clear and concise for the audience and includes background, deliverables, and key milestones. Keeps projects moving toward completion by escalating decision points, proactively flagging issues, and problem solving.
- Executes risk assessment analysis in order to minimize project risk and captures Success Criteria to drive to completion of projects. Aligns on project timeline with subject matter experts and maintains real-time accuracy. Conducts project analysis through Lessons Learned and Close Report to identify opportunities for improvement and communicates to the broader team as best practices.
- Assists with corporate initiatives to achieve the overall corporate strategy
- Bachelors degree required, preferably in Business or Product/Project Management
- 1-3 years of Commercialization/Product Management experience required.
- Knowledge of the overall Wells business strategies in order to build better alignment cross-functionally to commercialize projects. Knowledge of Wells policies and procedures. Demonstrates knowledge in a variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures. Knowledge and familiarity with Project Management tools and processes.
- Possesses & utilizes the following skills: critical thinking, decision-making, problem solving, relationship management and insight generation. Must also possess interpersonal skills, analytical skills, functional and technical skills, written and verbal communication skills, and must be detail-oriented and organized.
- Ability to work with others to complete work assignments. Ability to support and effectively communicate vision and purpose. Ability to coordinate, influence and support change. Ability to execute business strategies. Ability to effectively assist/support a cross-functional team, drive results and build relationships.
