Full-Stack Engineer (JSON Schema Developer) | $42/hr Remote

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer specializing in JSON Schema development. The role involves reviewing complex PDF documents, designing JSON schemas, and collaborating with API Gateway teams to enforce API contracts.

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze complex PDF documents to identify relevant data fields for extraction
• Design and implement deeply nested JSON schemas from scratch, adhering to data modeling best practices
• Define field types, naming conventions, and hierarchical structures to accurately model nested and repeated information
• Embed granular validation logic to ensure data integrity, including sum checks and null-testing
• Collaborate with API Gateway teams to design, document, and enforce API contracts using JSON Schema standards
• Work closely with stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver clear, actionable schema documentation

Requirements:

• Have proven experience designing complex JSON schemas, including objects within arrays and multilevel nesting
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in JSON, schema design, and data validation methodologies
• Have the ability to interpret raw documents and architect robust information models from scratch
• Possess a deep understanding of required vs. optional fields, data types, field descriptions, and validation rules
• Have hands-on experience with API Gateway management and defining secure API contracts
