zerohash is the leading crypto and stablecoin infrastructure platform, enabling banks and fintechs to offer crypto trading and stablecoin payments. The Junior Customer Onboarding and Risk Management Analyst will support identity verification and compliance processes for customers, contributing to risk ratings and profiles.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Performance of client due diligence and KYC/KYB screening on new customers for the various business units
- Support the preparation of KYC/KYB packages and new onboarding requests
- Assist the handling of watch list filtering and negative news alerts that are generated as part of customer onboarding
- Actively participate and contribute to projects and other assigned tasks
- Work with different teams including business units leaders, surveillance, compliance, and technology
- Conducts research via online tools to identify applicant entities and beneficial owners
- Identify potential KYC concerns and escalate to more senior team members or the Manager during the onboarding and ongoing review process
- Support the KYC processing of new clients forms and maintaining of reference databases with completed records and information
- Assist team members in conducting KYC due diligence searches and performing reviews for new customers of zerohash and its affiliates
- Assist team members in conducting reviews of partner customers and shared end customers, including for potential indication of inconsistencies or other concerns
- Assist in responding to requests for information regarding appropriate KYC documentation
- Identify potential areas for improved processing and automation of manual processes wherever possible
- Escalate to more senior team members information on clients identified as High Risk or where material adverse information has been identified
- Accurately establish with more senior team members the risk assessments of existing clients, resolving issues where appropriate
- Assist in the development and improvement of policies and procedures for the team

- AML/CFT compliance experience or related FinTech or financial services experience (especially B2B2C) helpful but not required
- Familiarity with various automated KYC/KYB solutions a plus
