RCI-RID-17417 IT Business Analyst (Utilities – Customer/1 Required)

Rangam is seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst with a strong utilities domain experience, particularly in Meter-to-Cash and Customer/1 (CIS platform). This role will involve close collaboration with business and IT teams to gather requirements, drive solutions, and support large-scale transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end business analysis for complex IT projects
• Gather, analyze, and document business & system requirements
• Translate requirements into functional specifications
• Work on Meter-to-Cash processes (Billing, Service Orders, Supplier Services, Finance)
• Partner with stakeholders across business, product, and technology teams
• Perform data analysis (SQL), issue investigation, and system validation
• Lead UAT, testing coordination, and defect resolution
• Support implementation, validation, and post-production checks
• Identify risks, dependencies, and cross-project impacts

Requirements:

• 10+ years as a Business Analyst in enterprise IT environments
• Strong experience in requirements gathering & SDLC (Agile/Hybrid)
• Hands-on experience with Meter-to-Cash in utilities
• Experience with Customer/1 (mandatory) or similar CIS platforms
• Strong data analysis & SQL skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Experience in Gas/Electric utility companies
• Exposure to large transformation programs
• Tools: JIRA, Confluence, Visio, SharePoint
• Certifications: CBAP, IIBA, TOGAF
