The Advanced Specialist in Product Management will drive the integration and ongoing success of licensed content partners within K-12 digital learning products, ensuring seamless technical and workflow integration while managing partner relationships and content utilization.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and facilitate relationships with third party content providers, determining appropriate product fit, technical integration, and data privacy requirements based on state standard requirements and PVS system requirements
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to refine requirements, lead product discovery for new content partnerships, and maintain an accurate accounting of allowable sources
- Anticipate review periods for contract renewals, expirations, and ensure timely action on all partner agreements
- Using the existing PVS platforms (Pearson Online Classroom, PAICE, PowerBI) and AI applications, develop an accurate inventory system and/or ability to query for third party content throughout the PVS content ecosystem
- Lead change management when partners sunset products or update offerings, identifying and onboarding suitable replacements
- Drive Names and Role Provisioning Services (NRPS) and single-sign-on (SSO) implementation, collaborating with PVS technical teams for smooth partner integration
- Visualize and document workflow for all licensed content partners, ensuring clarity and efficiency for internal teams and users across the K-12 curriculum
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in education, business, or related field
- 3–5 years' experience in product management, business analysis, or a similar role—preferably in EdTech or SaaS
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira)
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Baseline understanding of 1EdTech standards, including LTI Advantage features: Names and Role Provisioning Services, Deep Linking, and Assignment and Grade Services
- Experience with SSO integrations and managing external partnerships is a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a matrixed environment
