System Engineer

Signal Detection Group builds objective measurement tools for stress, cognitive workload, and readiness. They are seeking a Mobile + AWS Engineer to audit and stabilize a cross-platform mobile app that pairs with a Bluetooth ECG device, debug the streaming path, and improve the dashboard's robustness.

Responsibilities:

• Audit and stabilize a cross-platform mobile app that pairs with a Bluetooth ECG device
• Debug and harden the streaming path from device → app → AWS
• Improve dashboard robustness — better error handling, clearer display, faster diagnosis when something breaks
• Document what you find and what you change

Requirements:

• Strong cross-platform mobile experience (React Native, Flutter, or similar) and comfort jumping into an existing codebase
• Solid Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) experience — bonus if you've worked with biosignal or medical wearables
• AWS proficiency — you don't need to know our exact stack ahead of time, but you should be able to read it, find failure points, and improve it
• Full-stack debugging instincts: mobile ↔ cloud ↔ dashboard
