Principal Power Electronics Engineer

Round-Peg Solutions (RPS) is an organization that develops advanced power and electronic systems for aerospace and defense platforms. They are seeking a Principal Power Electronics Engineer to lead magnetics design across high performance power systems, from early concept through to production.

Responsibilities:

• Leading the design of transformers, inductors and EMI filters for aerospace applications
• Translating system requirements into manufacturable, reliable hardware solutions
• Performing magnetic, thermal and electrical analysis across designs
• Defining and executing validation, qualification and environmental testing
• Supporting production readiness, certification and product release

Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship or eligibility required
• Strong experience designing magnetics for power electronics applications
• Background in aerospace, defense or other high reliability environments
• Solid understanding of power electronics and system level design
• Experience with qualification standards, testing and reliability requirements
• Proven track record delivering hardware into production
