Dexcom Corporation is a pioneer and global leader in continuous glucose monitoring. The Business Systems Analyst will serve as the voice of Operations, involved in enterprise software system projects related to Manufacturing Execution Systems.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Manufacturing Operations, Quality, and IT to support and enhance manufacturing business systems
- Perform Camstar/Siemens Opcenter MES modeling and configuration activities under established standards and guidance
- Support Mendix-based applications, including requirements gathering, functional design documentation, testing support, and user issue resolution
- Collect, analyze, and document user requirements through stakeholder discussions and process walkthroughs
- Develop and maintain process flow charts and workflow documentation to represent current-state and future-state manufacturing system processes
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria aligned with agile practices
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to clarify requirements and support configuration or development activities
- Assist with troubleshooting production issues by coordinating analysis, documenting findings, and supporting resolution efforts
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including test case development, execution, and defect tracking
- Support end-user readiness through system documentation and contribution to training materials
Requirements:
- Experience working with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), preferably Siemens Opcenter / Camstar, including exposure to system modeling concepts
- Demonstrated ability to gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional system documentation
- Experience creating process maps, flowcharts, and basic system interaction diagrams
- Working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 2-5 years related experience or Master's degree and 0-2 years
- Experience supporting or working with low-code platforms, preferably Mendix, in an enterprise or manufacturing environment
- Exposure to regulated manufacturing environments (e.g., medical device, biotech, or regulated manufacturing)
