What You Will Get To Do:
We are seeking a highly skilled, highly autonomous, and experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join our dynamic team , This role requires the candidate to be capable of handling complex tasks independently and be solely responsible for all Oracle Database-related activities, including ensuring the optimal performance, security, and availability of our critical Oracle database systems, supporting various business applications and data infrastructure.
* Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle database software and related products (e.g., Grid Infrastructure, RMAN, RAC, ASM, Data Guard, TDE ).
* Create and manage Oracle's multitenant architecture, CDB (Container Database) and PDBs (Pluggable Databases).
* Perform database performance tuning, including SQL query optimization, instance tuning, and capacity planning.
* Implement and manage database backup and recovery strategies using RMAN, Data Guard, and other relevant tools.
* Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents in a timely manner.
* Manage database security, including user access, roles, privileges, and auditing.
* Develop and maintain automation scripts for routine database administration tasks.
* Collaborate with application development teams to support database design, development, and deployment activities.
* Participate in on-call rotation for production support and provide technical expertise during critical situations.
* Ability to resolve Oracle related issues during direct calls/Teams meetings with client personnel.
* Document database configurations, procedures, and best practices.
* Stay up-to-date with new Oracle technologies and industry trends.
What you will bring:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
* 8+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Database Administrator in a production environment.
* Proficiency with Oracle Database versions 19c, 21c and higher, including CDB/PDB.
* Strong experience with Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Data Guard.
* Expertise in RMAN for backup and recovery operations.
* Solid understanding of SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning methodologies.
* Experience with Linux/UNIX operating systems, including shell scripting.
* Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a plus.
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
