Full Stack Engineer

Software Technology Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their engineering team. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining consumer-facing rental product features across the full stack, while leveraging AI-assisted development tools and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain consumer-facing rental product features across the full stack (backend, APIs, frontend, infrastructure)
• Develop and integrate domain-related services - including search and discovery experiences, listing detail pages, lead capture flows, and third-party listing provider integrations
• Write high-quality, well-tested code; contribute to test automation standards in line with our engineering-owned quality model
• Own operational quality for work delivered - including observability, alerting, and incident readiness
• Drive delivery with strong personal ownership - managing scope, timelines, and cross-functional dependencies proactively within contract duration
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Windsurf) and adopt efficient development workflows
• Collaborate across teams and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical partners and stakeholders

Requirements:

• 50% Frontend & 50% Backend Experience
• 12+ Years Experience Mandatory
• TypeScript, React.Js, Node.Js, Full stack Developer, AWS, Circleci, Jenkins
• Excellent communication skill
• Proactive, takes ownership and can work in a collaborative way without minimal handholding
• Strong on FE stack like Typescript, React
• Mandatory have experience on leveraging AI assisted development tools like Claude, Windsurf etc
• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with significant focus on consumer-facing products at scale
• Proven full-stack engineering capability - backend services, RESTful/GraphQL APIs, frontend (React or equivalent), and cloud/DevOps
• Strong frontend experience is required; candidates with limited frontend depth will not meet the bar for this role
• Experience building consumer search, marketplace, or listing-based products - rental, real estate, or high-traffic consumer web products strongly preferred
• Demonstrated operational ownership: SLOs, observability, incident management
• Experience with test automation - unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks
• Ability to independently drive features from scoping through delivery within a defined contract timeline
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences
• Adaptability and ability to contribute meaningfully across domains and team contexts with minimal onboarding
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and workflows
• Background in real estate, rentals, or other high-traffic consumer web products
• Familiarity with third-party listing data providers or rental platform integrations
• Familiarity with data- and metrics-driven engineering cultures; comfort with KPIs and performance accountability
