Cornelis Networks delivers high-performance scale-out networking solutions for AI and HPC datacenters, and is seeking a results-driven Director of Product Management – Storage Ecosystem. This role focuses on driving the qualification and technical support of Cornelis networking products with global storage providers to ensure compatibility and maximize market penetration.
Responsibilities:
- Define the storage ecosystem roadmap by working with storage providers to maximize Cornelis market penetration and customer adoption
- Drive a clear understanding of storage-specific technical and business requirements to establish targets and priorities that define a successful product roadmap
- Develop strong product value propositions that highlight the performance benefits of coupling Cornelis networking with specific storage offerings to ensure clear market differentiation
- Establish and maintain deep technical relationships with targeted storage providers to drive the validation and qualification of Cornelis NICs and switches within their ecosystems
- Partner with Cornelis architects and systems engineers to translate storage workload requirements into actionable hardware PRDs and technical checklists
- Lead technical engagement on next-generation storage and networking system architectures to ensure Cornelis remains at the forefront of AI and HPC innovation
- Own the end-to-end process of achieving official product qualification, ensuring Cornelis is listed as a compatible network provider on partner websites and reference architectures
- Develop and drive product phase-gate review materials that capture the status of storage validation, qualification milestones, and roadmap date changes
- Maintain the 'source of truth' for storage-related roadmap commitments to manage market expectations and internal investment priorities
- Activate Go-To-Market activities with storage partners, including co-selling initiatives, integrated sales collateral, and joint marketing efforts
- Produce technical checklists, sales training, and customer-ready integration guides to accelerate the adoption of end-to-end networking and storage solutions
- Collaborate with Sales and Business Development teams to drive OEM design wins and ensure pipeline opportunities are not lost due to a lack of storage partner support
- Establish and lead regular executive leadership alignment meetings between Cornelis and storage partners to ensure resources and investment priorities are synchronized
- Build and improve hardware-focused business cases (including price-performance and TCO models) to influence pricing and partnership decisions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's (min) Master's (preferred) in Electrical/Computer Engineering or CS
- 5+ years of direct product management ownership for high performance networking hardware, specifically NICs and/or Ethernet/InfiniBand switches, delivering products into production data center environments
- 5+ years' experience supporting networking hardware with a deep understanding of networking interconnects including: InfiniBand, RoCE, Omni-Path, Ethernet
- 5+ years experience working with storage providers and OEMs/ODMs to drive design wins
- Experience using AI-assisted tools or workflows to support product management activities such as requirements capture, competitive analysis, content creation, roadmap tracking, and executive communication
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong organizational, interpersonal, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities
- Demonstrated ownership of hardware PRDs and hands-on experience driving phase-gates from concept, to plan, development, launch, sustaining production, and EOL
- Experience creating and maintaining hardware-focused business cases (price-performance, TCO, BOM/cost models) to influence pricing and product decisions
- Demonstrated ability to align architecture, silicon design, validation, manufacturing, supply chain, and program teams toward timely decisions
- Experience producing technical checklists, sales training, and customer-ready integration guides to accelerate product adoption
- Familiarity with how datacenter workload characteristics (large-scale model training, inference at scale, HPC) are impacted by storage and network performance
