Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer II to design, develop, and deploy production-grade Generative AI applications. This role is focused on end-to-end engineering, including system architecture, application development, and cloud deployment.

The ideal candidate is a strong software engineer with hands-on experience building scalable systems and integrating LLM-powered solutions into enterprise environments. This is not a traditional data science role focus is on application engineering, full-stack development, and production delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Generative AI Development

• Design and develop LLM-powered applications, APIs, and automation tools
• Implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), prompt engineering, tool calling, and agentic workflows
• Build scalable GenAI architectures from concept to production
• Evaluate and prototype emerging GenAI technologies

Full-Stack Development

• Develop and maintain frontend and backend applications
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance system architectures
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs
• Embed AI components into enterprise applications

Cloud & DevOps

• Deploy applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Ensure system scalability, monitoring, and reliability
• Follow DevOps best practices for production environments

Collaboration

• Work with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions
• Communicate architecture decisions and trade-offs effectively
• Own end-to-end delivery of AI-driven solutions

Required Skills

• 3 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering / AI Engineering
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Full-stack development experience (frontend + backend)
• Experience building and deploying production-grade applications
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform)
• Experience with CI/CD, containerization, and DevOps practices
• Strong experience in API design and integrations
• Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows
• Strong problem-solving and system design skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with LLM-based applications
• Hands-on with LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, or similar frameworks
• Experience with RAG and tool-calling architectures
• Exposure to enterprise AI implementations
• Experience in Energy, Utilities, or Industrial domains (plus)
