UI/UX Software Engineer

Alpha Consulting Corp. is seeking a talented and experienced UI/UX Designer for a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and enhancing user interfaces for web applications using the Blazor framework, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver engaging and functional designs.

Responsibilities:

• Design and enhance user interfaces for web applications using the Blazor framework, ensuring consistency with branding and best design practices
• Create detailed wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes in Figma to communicate design ideas effectively
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and iterate designs based on user feedback
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and QA engineers to translate product requirements into engaging and functional designs
• Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately in the Blazor framework, providing design assets and specifications

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a portfolio showcasing previous work (web applications, mobile apps, etc.)
• Experience with Blazor (knowledge of Blazor components, layout patterns, and integrations)
• Strong proficiency in Figma for wireframing, UI design, and prototyping
• Familiarity with design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to better understand design constraints and collaboration with development teams
• Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices and principles
• Ability to create user-centric designs that meet both business goals and user needs
• Solid understanding of responsive design and mobile-first approaches
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Detail-oriented with a passion for creating pixel-perfect designs
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry
• Experience with additional design tools and software
• Background in conducting user research and usability testing
• Experience contributing to design systems
