SAIC is seeking a highly-qualified Cyber Security SME to fulfill the role of Chief Cyber Security Engineer supporting the ABMS Digital Infrastructure Network Designer & Deployer program. This role involves designing and implementing robust cybersecurity solutions to protect sensitive data and ensure the integrity of the network infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing robust, scalable, and compliant cybersecurity solutions to protect sensitive data, defend against emerging threats, and ensure the integrity and availability of the network infrastructure
- Integrating advanced security technologies into the network design
- Establishing strict policies for access control and data protection
- Overseeing compliance with DoD, NIST, and other relevant cybersecurity frameworks
- Acting as a trusted advisor, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align security objectives with project goals
- Mentoring cybersecurity team members
- Providing oversight of security testing, monitoring, and incident response processes to ensure a resilient and secure network deployment
Requirements:
- Masters Degree in Cyber Security, Cyber Engineering or related field + 8 years experience or Bachelors Degree in Cyber Security, Cyber Engineering or related field + 10 years experience
- Demonstrated leadership in design and deployment projects, and the ability to foster collaboration across technical teams
- U.S. citizenship and a current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
- Network &/or Security Operations Center experience and familiarity with the DoD's acquisition and test enterprise
- Experience with carrier class networks, cloud infrastructure/operations and cross domain solutions
- CISSP, CySA, CISM, & or CASP+ certifications
