About the RoleIn this contingent assignment, you will work on complex, large-scale software engineering initiatives with broad organizational impact. You will collaborate closely with business, product, and engineering partners to design and deliver AI-enabled solutions that solve meaningful business problems. This role requires strong technical judgment, architectural thinking, and the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, multi-stakeholder environments.
Responsibilities- Partner with business stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to understand business needs and translate them into end-to-end AI-enabled technical solutions.
- Design, prototype, and deliver AI-driven workflows, agents, copilots, and automations using large language models (LLMs) and enterprise AI services.
- Integrate AI capabilities with enterprise platforms and systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce, internal services, and data platforms) using secure APIs and orchestration patterns.
- Rapidly iterate on prototypes and evolve them into production-ready solutions that meet enterprise standards for reliability, scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Serve as a technical liaison across business, product, data, security, and engineering teams to ensure solutions are effective, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.
- Lead solution architecture and design efforts, including:
- Prompt engineering and AI workflow design
- API integration and service orchestration
- Enterprise knowledge and data integration
- Security, privacy, risk management, and governance considerations
- Own solutions throughout the full lifecycle-from concept and proof of value to production deployment and ongoing optimization.
- Apply and advocate for responsible AI best practices, including model risk management, data protection, and compliance with enterprise and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to reusable architectures, patterns, standards, and documentation to enable scalable AI adoption across the organization.
- Consult on complex, multi-faceted software engineering challenges that require evaluation of technical, operational, and strategic trade-offs.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, consulting, education, training, or military service.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience designing and deploying AI/ML or LLM-based solutions in enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and cloud-based architectures.
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in complex, regulated, or large-scale organizations.
- Knowledge of responsible AI principles, data privacy, and security best practices.
