Product Designer

Augment Code is the only AI coding assistant built for professional software engineers, and they are seeking a Product Designer to redefine software engineering with their AI stack. The role involves working across product features, improving usability, and leading design sessions to integrate AI technology into products.

Responsibilities:

• Work with AI research teams to improve the utility and usability of Augment Code’s products and features
• Work with engineers to develop ergonomic UX solutions for editor limitations
• Lead design sessions and craft prototypes to help visualize and productize approach to incorporate new AI technology into products
• Work with Developer Experience and Marketing teams to discover and deliver solutions to new user needs and product opportunities
• Contribute to and improve Augment’s design systems
• Drive the product design experience from idea to software—concept sketches, user flows, prototypes, all the way to shipping to customers
• Test and validate design ideas through building prototypes and concept testing with users
• Partner with product and engineering on requirements and sequencing on initiatives you lead
