Technical Project Manager

Vultr is a leading cloud infrastructure company on a mission to provide high-performance solutions for enterprises and AI innovators. They are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to manage internal engineering projects, ensuring teams are aligned and focused on delivering impactful results.

Responsibilities:

• Manage project statuses and ensure technical work, dependencies, and risks are accurately captured and reported
• Assist with departmental reporting by translating engineering progress into clear, concise updates for leadership
• Work with engineering teams to capture current and future work prioritization, including technical requirements, constraints, and tradeoffs
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met
• Documentation: Maintain project timelines, task lists, and statuses
• Stakeholder Management: Regularly communicate project status, risks, and issues with key stakeholders
• Assist with engineering team planning and roadmapping, ensuring technical capacity, dependencies, and platform considerations are accounted for

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of experience as a technical project manager or in a project role supporting engineering, infrastructure, or software development teams
• 1-2 years experience with project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Asana, Trello, or similar)
• Experience working in a remote environment
• Experience putting together technical project status reports
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Strong communication skills
• 'In service to' mindset with respect to the team's processes and communication practices
