About the Role:AaraTech Inc is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst (1 2 years experience) to help protect sensitive healthcare systems and patient data. This role involves monitoring security threats, supporting compliance efforts, and strengthening cloud and application security in a regulated healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor systems for security breaches and suspicious activity
- Assist in implementing and managing security tools (SIEM, firewalls, endpoint protection)
- Perform vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts
- Support cloud security practices within AWS environments
- Assist in incident response and investigation
- Maintain security logs, reports, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA
- Conduct basic security audits and risk assessments
Required Qualifications:- 1 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or related roles
- Basic understanding of network security concepts (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS)
- Familiarity with security tools like SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk)
- Knowledge of cloud security fundamentals (especially AWS)
- Experience with Linux/Windows environments
- Basic scripting knowledge (Python or Bash)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
