At least 6-8 years of experience as a Project / Program Manager in Financial Services (preferably in the Compliance domain)
Experience in working across multiple teams and across the organization.
Strong communication skills ability to work with senior leadership and communicate the right message based on the status of the programs
Must be highly proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities
Develops program-wide high-level project plans, aligned to scope, so stakeholders can understand when things are to be delivered.
Identifies and tracks key achievements and recommends adjustments to high-level project plans based on risks, issues, etc.
Ensures accurate reflection of project/program budgets, forecasts, and actuals with related tools.
Monitors and communicates the progress of the delivery and ensures timely and effective communication of the status in terms of cost, forecast, schedule, and assessment of risks/issues.
Negotiates and influences delivery teams to ensure appropriate support throughout the lifecycle of the initiative.
Anticipates program/project risks and issues and ensures that appropriate mitigation planning is in place to avoid compromising delivery.
Knowledge of tools like Jira, Rally, Agile SDLC (Capabilities, Feature, User-story) etc.
Experience of having worked in a PMO team would be an added advantage.
