We are seeking a high-level Business Analyst to join our IT Unit in Richmond. This role is a blend of technical strategy and project leadership, acting as the vital link between complex IT systems and organizational business needs.

Core Responsibilities

Requirements Leadership: Elicit, document, and manage technical and business requirements for large-scale IT projects.
Project Management: Oversee project lifecycles, manage stakeholder expectations, and coordinate system deployments.
System Testing: Develop test strategies, perform regression testing, and analyze defects to recommend corrective actions.
Strategic Liaison: Serve as the primary bridge between technical teams (developers/vendors) and non-technical business users.
Training & Support: Create training materials and lead sessions to ensure successful user adoption of new systems.

Key Requirements & Skills

Experience: 5+ years of professional Business Analysis and Project Management experience.
Methodologies: Strong working knowledge of SDLC (Waterfall, Agile, and Iterative).
Soft Skills: Expert-level negotiation, facilitation, and consensus-building skills.
Technical Literacy: A solid understanding of the following is highly preferred:
- Data: SQL Server, ETL, Relational Databases, Data Mapping/Profiling.
- Development: .NET, C#, Web Services, PowerApps, or CRM (Dynamics).
- Reporting: Business Objects, Microstrategy, or Data Warehousing.
