Need Senior BI / Data Systems Engineer - Remote

Vinsys Information Technology Inc is seeking a Senior BI / Data Systems Engineer. This role involves managing and optimizing Tableau and Power BI reporting solutions for federal agencies, leading migration projects, and administering SharePoint Online and Microsoft PowerApps in government settings.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize Tableau and Power BI reporting solutions for federal agencies, ensuring high availability and performance for dashboards
• Lead migration projects from Tableau to Power BI, ensuring seamless data transformations and alignment with government compliance standards
• Administer and configure SharePoint Online and Microsoft PowerApps for content management and collaboration in government settings
• Support federal records management processes by maintaining HP TRIM/Content Manager solutions and providing version upgrades and web client access
• Manage virtual machines, network security groups (NSG), and cloud services within the Azure Government Community Cloud, ensuring compliance with federal security standards

Requirements:

• Tableau (8+ years): Expert in Tableau Desktop and Server/Online with a focus on federal agency dashboards. Skilled in Tableau Bridge configuration, optimizing workbooks, and troubleshooting Tableau Bridge sync services, particularly in post-cloud migration scenarios
• Microsoft Power BI: Certified Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst with proven experience in leading Tableau-to-Power BI migration projects. Expertise in developing Power Query transformations and DAX measures, particularly from SharePoint and Planner data sources
• SharePoint: Microsoft Certified SharePoint Associate with 10 years of experience in SharePoint Online/GCC administration. Capable of modern page development, integrating PowerApps, and managing enterprise content
• MicroFocus Content Manager: 5 years of experience supporting HP TRIM/Content Manager in federal records management, including performing version upgrades and enabling web clients
• Azure GCC: In-depth experience working within the Microsoft Azure Government Community Cloud (GCC) environments. Expertise in VM management, NSG configuration, and ensuring secure service connectivity in cloud-based infrastructures
• Proven track record in handling complex Tableau and Power BI implementations for federal agencies
• Experience in managing and supporting large-scale SharePoint environments, including the integration of modern tools like PowerApps
• Practical knowledge of federal records management solutions, particularly MicroFocus Content Manager (HP TRIM)
• Strong working knowledge of Azure GCC with a focus on secure service connectivity and cloud service management
• Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst (Certified)
• Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Associate
• Experience in cloud migrations for federal clients
• Knowledge of federal records management policies and standards
• Strong troubleshooting skills with Tableau Bridge synchronization in complex, cloud-based environments
• Tableau Certification (Optional but preferred)
