CSAA Insurance Group, a AAA insurer, is seeking a Sr. Manager, Product Intelligence to lead the delivery of actionable intelligence powered by artificial intelligence within Product Strategy & Development. This role focuses on building and deploying innovative AI and analytics solutions that support data-driven decision-making and enhance product management processes.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic analytics partner to Product Managers by translating business needs into actionable deliverables and embedding insights into PS&D operations for more effective decision-making
- Lead the creation, enhancement, and distribution of AI-enabled product intelligence – including dashboards, scorecards, and performance reports – to provide clear, data-driven insights for PS&D and senior leadership
- Operationalize Data Science outputs by redefining complex model results into intuitive, actionable intelligence and standardized reporting frameworks that drive confident, data-informed decisions
- Deploy AI insight frameworks – including early-warning systems, anomaly detection, scenario exploration, sensitivity analysis, and tradeoff modeling, with comprehensive documentation and governance controls to support informed decision-making
- Ensure robust quality assurance, governance, and data integrity for all intelligence deliverables, proactively addressing data quality issues and collaborating on solutions
- Build and lead a high-performing, AI-fluent team, setting expectations for product acumen, analytical rigor, intelligence delivery, executive communication and fostering continuous development, and collaboration
- Coach team members in AI driven decision intelligence disciplines, including analytics-as-a-product, causal thinking, experimentation support, model interpretation, and automated insight delivery – to develop continuous growth and impact
- Be responsible for and prioritize analytics requests, leveraging AI tools to ensure timely, high impact, and clear results aligned with evolving business priorities
Requirements:
- 10+ years of dynamic experience in product management, product delivery, or related disciplines, including innovation and/or large‑scale modernization initiatives
- 3–5+ years of direct people management experience leading product teams (including hiring, coaching, and performance management) with accountability across multiple initiatives
- Proven ability to lead others directly or indirectly, as demonstrated through 3+ years of leading teams, enterprise wide programs, or large cross-functional programs
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, technology, design, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, including clarifying intelligence and insights in a consumable format to internal and external partners and business leaders
- Able to lead teams to greater productivity and creativity
- Skilled coach and mentor. Ability to attract, develop and retain highly skilled, strong talent
- Strategic, organizational and problem solving skills
- Demonstrates analytical, intelligence, and mathematical skills, with the ability to review and direct analyses that answer specific business questions (insights/analytics), as well as synthesize intelligence that empowers confident, data-driven decisions by redefining raw information into actionable, decision-ready guidance
- Working knowledge of AI/ML product development and responsible AI controls, with the ability to partner with data and technology teams on requirements and adoption

- Business and technical writing skills and proficient in AI tools (e.g., Microsoft 365/Copilot, roadmap and backlog tools, SQL/SAS or equivalent) and strong business and technical writing skills
- Excellent project management techniques and processes. Highly skilled negotiator
- Excellent understanding of business systems and processes and how they link together
- MBA/Master's degree in business, computer science, mathematics, statistics, economics or related field
- CPCU designation, Agile/Lean, Design Thinking, or recognized analytics credentials
