Salesforce Development Lead / Salesforce PSS Architect

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Salesforce Development Lead / PSS Architect to serve as the senior technical authority for Salesforce Public Sector Solutions implementations. The role involves overseeing technical delivery, leading design discussions, and managing development teams to ensure successful project execution.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the senior technical authority for Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS) implementations across multiple government agencies
• Own end-to-end technical delivery, architecture, and engineering decisions for complex, multi-environment Salesforce projects
• Lead technical design discussions, provide solution guidance, and oversee onshore/offshore development teams
• Prioritize declarative (OmniStudio-first) solutions, minimizing custom code (Apex/LWC) where possible
• Ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable architecture for licensing, permitting, and inspection workflows
• Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and manage DevOps/release pipelines (SFDX, Vlocity CLI)
• Design and implement integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, platform events) with external state systems
• Lead data migration strategies and manage ETL processes for regulatory datasets
• Support UAT and production environments, including test coordination, incident triage, and user support
• Serve as primary technical liaison for government stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical solutions
• Design and maintain Salesforce Experience Cloud portals and robust security models (role-based access, sharing, permissions)
• Contribute to reusable frameworks, best practices, and standardized architecture patterns within the LPI Practice

Requirements:

• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder engagement, and Agile/Scrum experience required
• Preferred experience with government programs, regulatory workflows, Salesforce Shield, DevOps tools, and mobile/offline Salesforce development
