AWS Lead Engineer - REMOTE CONTRACT!

Talent Groups is looking to hire a Senior Cloud AWS Engineer for their client. The role involves designing and managing cloud-based systems, optimizing data storage, and ensuring data security and compliance while collaborating with teams to identify optimal solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build data pipelines in AWS
• Lead data ingestion and storage architecture
• Work across end-to-end data lifecycle
• Participate in 2–3 week sprint development cycles
• Support integration across multiple environments
• Translate business requirements to technical solutions
• Help move data from staging to DW
• Provide troubleshooting direction (e.g., debugging missing objects like DDLs)
• Operate as a technical lead without direct reports

Requirements:

• An AWS Cloud Engineer/Developer/Team Lead
• Core AWS tools this person will use: Redshift (key priority) MUST HAVE
• AWS Glue
• S3
• Lambda
• QuickSight
• Design and build data pipelines in AWS
• Lead data ingestion and storage architecture
• Work across end-to-end data lifecycle
• Participate in 2–3 week sprint development cycles
• Support integration across multiple environments
• Translate business requirements to technical solutions
• Help move data from staging to DW
• Provide troubleshooting direction (e.g., debugging missing objects like DDLs)
• Operate as a technical lead without direct reports
• Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based data solutions
• Strong background in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure
• Proficient in programming languages like Python
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
