Technical Product Analyst - Travel Data Platform and Orders Management System Remote

BCD Travel is a company that helps organizations travel smart and achieve more. The Technical Product Analyst will play a key role in shaping and enabling development across the Travel Data Platform and Orders Management System by analyzing development requests and defining expected system behavior to support scalable product solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with Technical Product Managers to understand product vision, roadmap priorities, and business objectives
• Analyze and refine incoming development requests to clarify problem statements, scope, and success criteria
• Analyze system interactions, integrations, APIs, and data flows to define expected behavior and outcomes
• Create and maintain documentation such as process flows, data mappings, interface behavior descriptions, and business rules
• Support backlog refinement by ensuring work items are well‑defined, prioritized appropriately, and ready for delivery
• Define acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and expected outcomes for validation activities
• Support the TPM in stakeholder discussions by providing detailed analysis, examples, and clarifications, along with note taking and action item tracking

Requirements:

• Strong technical fluency in data flows, integrations, and system interactions
• Ability to analyze and refine incoming development requests to clarify problem statements, scope, and success criteria
• Experience in analyzing system interactions, integrations, APIs, and data flows to define expected behavior and outcomes
• Ability to create and maintain documentation such as process flows, data mappings, interface behavior descriptions, and business rules
• Experience in supporting backlog refinement by ensuring work items are well-defined, prioritized appropriately, and ready for delivery
• Ability to define acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and expected outcomes for validation activities
• Ability to support the TPM in stakeholder discussions by providing detailed analysis, examples, and clarifications, along with note taking and action item tracking
• Understanding and articulation of business problems and desired outcomes
• Effective communication across business, product, and engineering teams
• Ability to break down complex problems into manageable components
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
