Valnet is looking for a Lead Marketplace Analytics Manager to join our Military.com team. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of data analytics, marketplace strategy, and product thinking — owning the optimization of our lead generation revenue across insurance and/or mortgage verticals. Your work will have a direct and measurable impact on our bottom line, driving real revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze auction and marketplace performance data to identify pricing inefficiencies and revenue uplift opportunities
- Recommend and implement updates to auction logic and bid optimization strategies in collaboration with the dev team
- Build AI agents, automated reporting tools, and custom dashboards that support data-driven decision-making
- Stand up and manage new partnerships with lead buyers and aggregators, owning the commercial relationship from evaluation through onboarding
- Coordinate cross-functionally with performance marketing and engineering to deploy optimizations quickly and measure their impact
- Monitor key performance metrics (RPL, fill rate, win rate, ROAS, margin) and proactively surface insights to leadership
Requirements:
- 3–6+ years of experience in analytics, marketplace optimization, or a hybrid analytics/product role
- Strong foundation in data analysis — comfortable working with large datasets, building models, and translating findings into actionable recommendations
- Experience in lead generation, performance marketing, or digital advertising; background in insurance or mortgage verticals is a strong plus
- Familiarity with auction mechanics, ping/post lead marketplaces, or programmatic advertising ecosystems
- Proven ability to build tools: custom reports, dashboards, or lightweight AI agents that drive operational efficiency
- Product mindset — you think in systems, prioritize ruthlessly, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and moving fast in a high-accountability environment
