Marketeq Talent is seeking a Principal Blockchain Engineer who will serve as the technical face of the company and a subject matter expert in blockchain engineering. The primary mission of this role is to create engaging video content that translates complex engineering concepts into accessible information for technical founders and enterprise decision-makers.
Responsibilities:
- The Face of the Engineering Funnel: Record Video Sales Letters (VSLs), Facebook Ads, and "Thank You" page videos. You will demonstrate the technical integrity of our solutions to build trust with technical founders and enterprise decision-makers
- Expert Content Collaboration: Work with our copywriters to turn engineering jargon into persuasive scripts. You provide the deep technical "how" (from Layer 2 scaling and sharding to smart contract audits); they provide the "hook."
- "Editor-Friendly" Recording: You will be trained on our specific recording workflow, allowing you to record in a way that makes it easy for our editors to remove bloopers and outtakes so you look like a polished engineering visionary
- Technical Advocacy: Act as the primary personality for our Blockchain Engineering category, proving that our company is led by actual engineers who understand the math and security behind the chain
Requirements:
- Screen Presence: You must be comfortable speaking to a camera as if you are speaking to a lead architect or a CTO
- Home Studio: You must have a clean, professional background for filming
- Technical Gear: You must own (or be willing to acquire) a 4K camera (smartphone or DSLR), a podcast-grade microphone with a preamp/interface, and professional lighting
- Senior-Level Engineering Authority: You must possess a minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering, with at least 3 years focused specifically on Blockchain Infrastructure
- Engineering DNA: You are a builder. You understand the technical landscape (Go, Rust, Solidity, C++, P2P networking, etc.) and can speak to the reality of node infrastructure, security vulnerabilities, and system performance
- "Stage-Ready" Knowledge: You are a legitimate expert who could walk onto a keynote stage at an engineering-heavy conference (like Devcon or Breakpoint) and speak fluently about protocol-level challenges without a script
- Public Advocacy Experience: Preference is given to those who have previously engaged in technical public speaking, led developer webinars, or contributed to core protocol repositories
- Educational Translation: You can take "low-level" engineering complexity and translate it into high-level, persuasive ROI-driven concepts for business owners
- Portfolio (Optional): Include links to your GitHub, whitepapers, or previous technical presentations
