About this role
SoTalent is a global biopharma company focused on generating real-world evidence to support clinical, commercial, and strategic decision-making. The role involves leading RWE analyses, working with large healthcare datasets, and providing insights to shape therapy development and evaluation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute RWE analyses using real-world data (RWD) sources (claims, EMR, registries)
- Apply advanced statistical and epidemiological methods to generate insights
- Clean, validate, and ensure integrity of large healthcare datasets
- Develop reproducible analytical code and documentation
- Deliver insights through reports, dashboards, and presentations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet study timelines
- Support development of analytics standards and best practices
- Stay current with emerging RWE methodologies and data technologies
Requirements:
- MSc or PhD in Data Science, Epidemiology, Statistics, Public Health, or similar
- Experience in biopharma, healthcare analytics, or RWE consulting
- Strong expertise working with real-world healthcare data (e.g. claims, EMR)
- Advanced programming skills in SQL and R (Python a plus)
- Experience with datasets such as Flatiron, Optum, or similar
- Strong understanding of healthcare coding systems (ICD, CPT, HCPCS, etc.)
