Senior Endur Developer Trading & Supply IT (Crude)

Location: Houston, TX (Downtown)
Work Type: Flex Contract (6 months) with potential extension

A large enterprise energy trading organization is seeking a Senior Endur Developer to support its Trading & Supply IT Crude North America portfolio. This is an urgent backfill role joining an Agile product delivery team responsible for Endur and Oil Data Warehouse (ODW) platforms.

Role Overview

This position combines hands-on Endur development with production support, owning defect resolution, system enhancements, and technical delivery in a fast paced trading environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain Endur-based applications

• Provide L2/L3 production support, including triage and root cause analysis

• Deliver defect fixes, enhancements, and small project work

• Create technical designs, estimates, and documentation

• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprints, backlog planning)

• Support Change and Problem Management processes

• Troubleshoot Endur and ODW issues end to end

• Collaborate with Trading and Supply business and IT stakeholders

Must Have Skills (Non Negotiable)

• Strong hands-on Endur (Openlink) development experience

• Java (core development)

• Oracle SQL / PL/SQL (advanced)

• Experience supporting Endur in production environments

• Incident and problem management with code triage

• Strong requirements analysis and technical design skills

Nice to Have

• Oil Data Warehouse (ODW) experience

• Exposure to .NET

• Energy trading or commodities domain experience (Crude, T&S)

• Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow
