- 10+ years of experience as a Senior Technical Analyst, ideally within a professional services, accounting, or financial services environment.
- Act as the technical SME for assigned applications across Tax, Assurance, Advisory, Outsourcing, and Wealth Management practices acting as the accountable point of contact for system health, roadmap planning, vendor relationships, and escalation management.
- Gain good functional and technical knowledge of owned applications, including integration points, data flows, licensing terms, and support agreements, ensuring continuity of service and proactive risk management.
- Evaluate how system changes, upgrades, or new implementations can optimize business process flow, reduce manual effort, and support compliance and reporting requirements specific to professional services.
- Analyze and map business process flows, identify operational risks and inefficiencies, and propose technology-driven remediation strategies.
- Contribute to end-user documentation, training materials, and change management communications to support adoption of new or enhanced systems across practice areas.
- Coordinate application lifecycle activities including upgrades, patches, and decommissions in partnership with vendors, IT infrastructure teams, and practice stakeholders.
- Act as the escalation point for critical issues affecting owned systems, coordinating rapid response across IT support, development, and business teams to minimize disruption to client-serving operations.
- Facilitate structured requirements-gathering sessions with partners, practice leaders, and staff across Tax, Assurance, Advisory, Outsourcing, and Wealth Management to capture business needs and translate them into detailed functional and technical specifications.
- Conduct gap analyses of current-state systems supporting practice operations (e.g., tax workflow platforms, audit management tools, outsourcing systems, and enterprise applications).
- Assist in developing and maintain an application inventory and capability map that reflects the current-state technology landscape across Tax, Assurance, Advisory, Outsourcing, and Wealth Management, enabling data-driven portfolio decisions.
- Assist in the definition of rationalization roadmaps with clear prioritization criteria, migration sequencing, and change management plans to minimize disruption to firm operations and client service continuity
