About this role
GraceMark Solutions is seeking a Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer to join their R&D team focused on high-performance power systems. This role involves firmware design, optimization, and ensuring system reliability, particularly in protection systems and numerical relays.
Responsibilities:
- 7–10 years in Embedded Firmware Development
- Strong expertise in C, C++, RTOS, and Microprocessors
- Hands-on experience with QNX and Linux environments
- Experience with protection systems and numerical relays (power industry)
- Knowledge of memory interfaces (NAND, NOR, DDR4)
- Experience with communication protocols (UART, I2C, SPI, Ethernet)
- Strong understanding of multithreading and system architecture
- Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Experience working on complex, real-time embedded systems
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Self-driven with a strong ownership mindset
