AWS Security Architect

W2 Only.

• AWS Security Architect responsible for designing and implementing secure, scalable cloud architectures on AWS.
• Define and enforce cloud security standards, policies, and best practices across AWS environments.
• Architect secure VPC designs including subnetting, routing, NAT gateways, and network segmentation.
• Implement identity and access management using IAM roles, policies, and least privilege principles.
• Design and manage encryption strategies using KMS, TLS, and data-at-rest/in-transit protections.
• Secure applications and workloads using services like WAF, Shield, and AWS Firewall Manager.
• Monitor and respond to threats using CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub, and SIEM integrations.
• Establish logging, auditing, and compliance controls aligned with frameworks like ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
• Automate security controls and compliance checks using Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation/Terraform).
• Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing coordination, and risk mitigation planning.
• Integrate DevSecOps practices into CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure code deployment.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to remediate security findings and enforce secure coding practices.
• Manage secrets and credentials securely using AWS Secrets Manager and Parameter Store.
• Design disaster recovery and incident response strategies for secure business continuity.
• Stay current with AWS security services, emerging threats, and evolving compliance requirements.
