Pie Insurance is dedicated to empowering small businesses by simplifying commercial insurance. The Staff Business Systems Analyst will focus on Salesforce administration, providing platform support, and collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Administer, configure, and develop solutions across our Salesforce environment
- Maintain and evolve a mature Sales Cloud foundation with strong pipeline instrumentation
- Help architect and scale an emerging Service Cloud landscape
- Provide end-to-end platform support, including:
- User support
- Data quality management
- Complex automation
- Custom development
- Partner across systems that integrate with Salesforce, including:
- Zuora (billing and payments)
- Workato (integrations)
- Sage Intacct (ERP)
- Marketing Cloud
- Snowflake EDW
- Understand and monitor how data flows between systems
- Troubleshoot integration and data sync issues when they arise
- Translate business needs into technical solutions
- Translate technical constraints into clear business terms
- Partner directly with key stakeholders, including:
- Sales leadership
- Service operations
- Finance
- Other cross-functional teams
- Build credibility and drive adoption through strong relationships and consistent follow-through
- Gather, analyze, and document requirements for enhancements and new capabilities
- Create clear specifications that internal or external developers can execute against
- Maintain durable documentation that supports future teammates and long-term platform scalability
- Work alongside our Zuora BSA and collaborate with contractors supporting the broader platform ecosystem
- Share knowledge and best practices across the team
- Provide guidance to less experienced team members
- Contribute to a collaborative team culture as the team grows and scales
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 12+ years of experience in business systems analysis, Salesforce administration, or a related field
- 5+ years experience in Salesforce across multiple orgs, with hands-on experience in Sales Cloud and ideally Service Cloud
- Salesforce Certified Administrator required; Advanced Administrator and Platform Developer I preferred
- Experience in billing platforms, ERPs, marketing automation, data warehouses, or iPaaS tools
