Senior DevOps Engineer

Bricklayer AI is the first AI cybersecurity solution enabling autonomous AI agents to collaborate with human experts in security operations. The Senior DevOps Engineer will design and maintain secure, cloud-native infrastructure for their autonomous SOC platform, ensuring high performance and security while leading infrastructure security initiatives and mentoring team members.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement secure CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Architect and maintain cloud infrastructure using IaC principles
• Establish security controls and vulnerability scanning processes
• Manage multi-cloud (AWS/Azure) environments and optimize costs
• Ensure platform availability meets customer SLAs
• Lead infrastructure security initiatives and compliance efforts
• Develop automation strategies for deployment and operations
• Guide technical decisions around cloud architecture and tooling
• Mentor junior engineers on DevOps best practices
• Maintain SOC2 compliance controls and documentation

Requirements:

• 7+ years of DevOps engineering experience
• Expert knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Strong experience with AWS services and administration
• Expert in Kubernetes and Helm
• Proven track record building secure CI/CD pipelines
• Experience implementing observability in SaaS applications using Cloudwatch, Prometheus/Grafana or similar
• Experience implementing and maintaining SOC2 controls
• Expertise in container orchestration and microservices
• Strong background in security and vulnerability management
• Experience with Azure cloud services
• Track record of mentoring technical teams
• Experience maintaining high-availability SaaS platforms
• Security certifications (AWS Security, CISSP, etc.)
• Experience with AI/ML infrastructure including OpenAI Service and AWS Bedrock
• Contributions to open-source infrastructure projects
