CRIO is a leading provider of eSource solutions for clinical research, and they are seeking a dedicated Business Development Representative to help expand their reach and impact. This role involves identifying and qualifying potential leads, communicating product value, and collaborating with the sales team to maximize sales potential.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify potential leads, outbound and inbound, by phone, email, social media messaging, and other media as they are made available
- Conduct preliminary research to understand a prospective customer and tailor sales strategy accordingly
- Effectively communicate product value to prospects and secure sales appointments
- Actively follow up with prospects to nurture relationships
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified opportunities, booked demos, and discovery calls to effectively build a sales pipeline
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales campaigns, promotions, and initiatives to maximize sales potential
- Utilize CRM software to track and manage sales activities and document customer interactions
- Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors’ offerings to effectively position our products and services
- Continuously develop sales skills and product knowledge through training, workshops, and self-learning to enhance sales performance

- Experience as an Inside Sales Representative or in a similar sales role, in a B2B environment, with a track record of successfully building a sales pipeline
- A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- Previous experience as a clinical research site coordinator or a highly similar position
