DevOps Engineer

IMPACT Technology Recruiting is seeking a DevOps Engineer (AWS) on a contract basis. This role will serve as a key technical resource supporting all phases of the DevOps and application development lifecycle, focusing on Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipeline optimization, and cloud automation.

Responsibilities:

• The DevOps Engineer will serve as a key technical resource supporting all phases of the DevOps and application development lifecycle
• This role will focus heavily on Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipeline optimization, cloud automation, and deployment strategy

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps Engineering role
• Strong experience with AWS cloud services and Infrastructure as Code for mission-critical applications
• Must have 3+ years of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Experience with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, deployment, and support
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, and CloudFront
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Serverless Framework
• Hands-on experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions
• Hands-on experience with Terraform Cloud
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Bash scripting
• Hands-on experience with YAML
• Hands-on experience with Python and/or Node.js
• Preference for local Arizona candidates
