SENIOR FRONTEND ENGINEER (React/ Next.js)

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior React Engineer with Next.js for a full-time position. The role involves modernizing and accelerating the development of the presentation layer for a SaaS platform that helps enterprises with ransomware detection and recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build modern, scalable front-end applications using React and Next.js
• Develop reusable UI components and frameworks to support rapid feature development
• Translate product requirements and design specifications into clean, maintainable code
• Integrate front-end applications with backend services via REST APIs and WebSockets
• Contribute to the evolution of the front-end architecture and technology stack
• Optimize applications for performance, responsiveness, and usability in enterprise environments
• Ensure interfaces support clear, predictable workflows, particularly for critical-use scenarios
• Collaborate with product managers and technical leads to accelerate delivery against roadmap priorities
• Rapidly understand existing systems and contribute with minimal onboarding time

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in front-end or full-stack development
• Strong experience with React and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Experience building enterprise web applications (B2B), not consumer/gaming-focused UI
• Solid understanding of component-based architecture and state management
• Understanding of integrating with APIs and handling real-time data (WebSockets or similar)
• Experience in building clean, maintainable, and scalable front-end systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with minimal direction
• Ability to ramp up quickly and contribute in a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of Next.js and TypeScript
• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS or modern styling frameworks
• Experience in full-stack development (Node.js, APIs, data models)
• Experience working with data-heavy interfaces or visualization layers
• Understanding of building interfaces that support complex workflows or operational systems
• Familiarity with enterprise UX principles (clarity, predictability, efficiency over aesthetics)
