QA Engineer

UST HealthProof is a company that transforms lives through technology, and they are seeking a QA Engineer specializing in automated and manual testing. The role involves developing automated test scripts, performing various types of testing, and enhancing existing automation frameworks to ensure application functionality meets specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Karate framework for API testing and Selenium WebDriver for UI testing (web and mobile)
• Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and UAT testing to ensure application functionality matches specifications
• Enhance existing automation frameworks (Java/Python) and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Docker)
• Identify, document, track, and reproduce software defects in tools like Jira or Trello
• Review technical design documents and user requirements to create comprehensive test plans and test scenarios
• Perform RESTful API testing, focusing on JSON validation, response status codes, and security, using Karate

Requirements:

• Generally 3–8 years of experience in both manual and automation testing, with specific experience in Karate and Selenium
• Strong proficiency in Java or Python
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and tools like Karate, Postman, or SOAPUI
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries for database validation
• Strong analytical skills for identifying edge cases
• Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams (developers, Product Owners)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
