Job Overview:
- The Pricing Expert will be responsible for developing and optimizing pricing strategies to drive revenue and profitability.
- The role involves analyzing market trends, conducting financial modeling, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective pricing decisions.
- The ideal candidate will leverage data-driven insights to enhance pricing accuracy and support business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine pricing frameworks based on market trends, cost structures, and business goals.
- Conduct profitability analysis and price elasticity studies to determine optimal pricing strategies.
- Lead pricing experiments and model evaluations to improve pricing accuracy.
- Analyze competitor pricing, market shifts, and customer demand patterns.
- Build dashboards to monitor pricing trends and market intelligence.
- Provide insights to leadership for product launches and pricing adjustments.
- Create pricing models, forecasts, and margin impact assessments.
- Run scenario analyses to evaluate business outcomes under different pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with Finance to align pricing with revenue and profitability goals.
- Partner with Sales teams for deal support, discount governance, and pricing approvals.
- Work with Product and Marketing teams to align pricing with product value and market positioning.
- Guide stakeholders on pricing policies, guidelines, and compliance frameworks.
- Maintain pricing tools, CPQ systems, and pricing databases.
- Define pricing controls and approval workflows.
- Ensure pricing documentation is updated and accessible.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools.
- Experience with pricing models including value-based, cost-plus, and dynamic pricing.
- Understanding of financial metrics such as margin, elasticity, churn, LTV, and CAC.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies.
Qualification And Education:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related field.
Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in Pricing, Revenue Management, Strategy, or related roles.
Should Have:
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
- Data-driven decision-making approach.
