- Collaborate with engineering and UX to review solution designs and ensure requirements are testable, complete, and aligned to business outcomes
- Define and execute test strategy and test plans for functional, integration, regression, and data validation testing; ensure coverage for happy-path, negative, and edge scenarios

- Identify candidates for test automation; collaborate with QA engineers on automation design (e.g., Tosca or other approved tools) and maintain automated regression coverage over time
- Drive delivery in an Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban), contributing to backlog refinement, estimation, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives
- Collaborate across business and technical teams (product, engineering, QA, architecture, infrastructure, security, and operations) to align priorities, clarify scope, and deliver integrated outcomes
- Embed cybersecurity, privacy, and audit considerations into requirements and acceptance criteria (e.g., authentication, authorization, logging, and data handling)
- Champion quality and risk controls through thorough test plans, evidence-driven validation, and clear documentation of outcomes
- Support PCI DSS, SOC, and other compliance activities as needed, including evidence collection, control validation, remediation tracking, and audit/assessment inquiries
- Support production operations as needed: troubleshoot incidents, perform root-cause analysis, validate fixes, and drive preventive improvements and automation
- Track requirements, delivery work, and defects in Jira; maintain clear documentation in Confluence (process flows, story details, test evidence, runbooks, and decision records)
- Validate data and integrations using appropriate tools (e.g., SQL queries, logs, and API testing tools such as Postman where applicable) and support operational/access workflows using ServiceNow and SailPoint in alignment with audit requirements
Requirements:
- Experience performing business analysis and software testing/QA activities across the SDLC/STLC, including requirements elicitation, documentation, and solution validation
- Experience delivering in an Agile environment and partnering effectively with product owners, engineers, and business stakeholders
- Strong communication skills with the ability to facilitate discussions, explain functional concepts, influence decisions, and drive alignment across stakeholders
- Hands-on experience creating test cases from requirements/acceptance criteria, executing tests, and managing defects through resolution
- Ability to utilize modern AI tools to accelerate analysis, documentation, and test drafting while applying appropriate judgment and validation
- Experience in financial services and/or other regulated environments, with familiarity in secure SDLC practices and audit support
- Hands-on experience with test automation or API/data testing, and/or relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, IIBA)
