The AI Prompt Engineer will design and refine AI prompt systems to generate high-quality content, collaborating with stakeholders to improve workflows and content formats.
Responsibilities:
- Design, write, and iterate prompts that generate structured, high-quality AI-driven content
- Build and maintain scalable prompt frameworks across multiple formats and use cases
- Test AI outputs, identify failure modes, and systematically improve results through iteration
- Define and enforce rules, constraints, and schemas (including JSON outputs) to ensure consistency and reliability
- Evaluate content quality across accuracy, engagement, repeatability, and structure
- Develop, prototype, and validate new content formats from concept to production-ready systems
- Run experiments to compare prompt variations and scale successful approaches
- Collaborate with stakeholders using tools such as generative AI platforms, spreadsheets, and structured workflows
- Maintain documentation and clarity around prompt logic, systems, and expected outputs
Requirements:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience designing and iterating prompts for generative AI systems (or equivalent applied experience)
- 2+ years of experience working with structured content or data formats (e.g., JSON, schemas, rule-based systems)
- 2+ years of demonstrated analytical problem-solving experience, including testing outputs, diagnosing errors, and improving systems
- Strong writing skills with attention to clarity, tone, and structured communication
- Proven ability to translate vague requirements into clear rules and repeatable outputs
- Ability to work independently, manage experimentation cycles, and ship iterative improvements
- Experience building or scaling AI-driven content generation systems
- Familiarity with prompt evaluation methods, scoring frameworks, or test harnesses
- Background in games, interactive content, education, or content systems
- Experience supporting live or continuously updated content environments
- Light scripting, automation, or data manipulation experience
- Exposure to agentic systems or skill-based AI architectures
