They are seeking an Insurance Customer Service Representative I to join their dynamic team, where the role involves supporting customers with their policy needs and building a strong foundation in Personal Lines insurance.
Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive training in Personal Lines insurance
- Provide day-to-day servicing of personal lines policies, including answering questions related to coverages, discounts, registrations, and claims
- Process policy transactions using various carrier systems
- Apply discounts received via email or mail, ensuring proper documentation and effective dates
- Research and resolve premium discrepancies, contacting insureds to explain differences
- Communicate with insurance companies, underwriters, banks, and car dealers to facilitate document processing
- Build and manage customer relationships, identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery, and recommend additional products or services
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year customer service experience
- Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering outstanding service
- Licensing: Must pass the Personal Lines Insurance state exam (training and study time provided)
